Monika Schuster, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Bender, retired at the end of the year. After 3 years at the top of the company, Monika Schuster has decided to take a new path and face new challenges.

The company has achieved significant successes with Monika Schuster. She has shown herself to be a visionary leader with an exceptional amount of heart and appreciation for employees, customers and business partners. Her commitment and passion were decisive for the growth and positive development of Bender. In addition to Finance, Monika Schuster was responsible for HR, IT, Process Excellence, Internal Audit and Legal & Compliance.

Monika Schuster was officially bid farewell at the shareholders' meeting before Christmas. Dorothea Bender Fernández, Chairwoman of the Advisory Board of the Bender Group, thanked Monika Schuster for her great commitment to the company. "I really valued the appreciative manner of Monika Schuster." Bender Fernández emphasised that she had learned a lot from her.

Monika Schuster holds a master's degree in computer science. Before joining the company, she held management positions in several medium-sized companies. She joined Bender in 2018, initially as Vice President Central Functions. Since 2020, she has been part of Bender's management team as Chief Financial Officer.

Since October 2023, Monika Schuster has been succeeded as CFO by economist Dr Sven Hartung. Bender looks to the future with confidence and is determined to continue the successful course that Monika Schuster has set with her heart and soul.
