The award-winning Merivaara Q-Flow™ LED operating lights are designed to enhance illuminance and improve efficiency in operating theatres by reducing staff fatigue, heat output and energy consumption.
The range of Q-Flow™ surgical lights offer an illuminance intensity up to 160,000 lux. The lights deliver a deep column of light and have three colour temperature options, providing superior white light or green ambilite, for easy viewing of the surgical site, screens, and monitors.
Q-Flow™ surgical lighting delivers colour rendering with Ra, R9 and R13 values of 98, enabling surgeons to visualise tissue and vascular colours more easily. R13 is particularly important in plastic surgery to enhance skin detail.
The circular shape of Q-Flow™ theatre lighting is designed to optimise air flow above the operating table, aiding the reduction of surgical infections. It has a best-in-class turbulence intensity of 15.9% complying with DIN1946.
Q-Flow™ Fluent, the base model of Q-Flow™ operating theatre lights, is most suitable for day surgery and elective procedures, providing excellent optical performance and sterile surgeon control features, such as brightness or field size.
Q-Flow™ Vision, the mid-range model surgical light is ideal for a broad range of surgery types and can be integrated with a full HD camera and deliver video streaming for teaching applications.
Q-Flow™ Intelligent is the highest specification operating theatre light, ideally suited for complex surgical procedures. Features include an intuitive sterile handle (Intueri™) delivering control and adjustability of brightness and light field, Dynamic Obstacle Compensation (DOC™) shadow-reducing technology to prevent light from being diminished or obstructed to the surgical area. It can also have a full HD camera integrated.
Q-Flow™ surgical lighting is available in various configurations such as ceiling or wall mounted in addition to mobile, with solo, duo, trio, and quad arm options. Q-Flow™ lights are flexible, easily maneuvered by clinical teams and is compatible with OpenOR™, MeriMote™ and Bender CP9 control panels.
Exclusively distributed by Bender and available to purchase via the NHS Supply Chain Framework, we work closely with customers to ensure the correct choice of theatre lighting is supported through a consultative design and evaluation process, and are expertly installed and maintained by our factory-trained team.
